Use at own risk
We all know XP support ended on April 8, 2014 and for security it is not Secure Online after that date. What a lot of people doesn't know is that XP 64 bit is based off of Server 2003 and not based off of XP 32 bit but made to work like it And is still supported until April 9, 2019. My XP PC is a home custom build XP 64 bit machine. So if your old XP box is 64 bit there is a few years left in it . Mine has an early AMD CPU and 3 GB's of ram with 4 TB's of hard drive space so it won't get retired but used for file storage. Read Registry hack enables continued updates for Windows XP it states it is good for 32 bit XP as that is false as the updates gotten are not applicable, but it does apply for 64 bit XP XP 64 bit work around
